Is twitter part of your everyday life?

These days most people would answer yes to this question. With nearly everyone owning a smartphone, being connected to the internet 24/7 is easy. Twitter is one of the apps that helps you stay up to date with your mates.

The beauty of twitter is you are limited to only 140 characters it keeps your update short snappy and straight to the point. No pointless drivvel!

This is great as you can learn new exciting information about the people you choose to follow, and your followers can learn new things about you! You can post your: thoughs, feelings, actions, choices maybe a joke?

You can follow anyone on twitter (unless there account is private) from your close chums to A-list celebs! Being connected means you can be the first to know about a favourite bands upcoming tour, or parties at your mates house or even money off in your favourite shop.

Celebrities from Alan Carr to Stephen Fry use Twitter in their everyday lives. Alan Carr recently revealed through twitter that his special guest on this weeks chatty man is the icon Britney Spears he tweeted '30 mins till @britneyspears on @chattyman #BritneyOnChattyMan' this sent his followers wild with excitement!

But don't think twitter is just for young people or celebrities, it's also a great way of gaining customer loyalty for a business or understanding peoples interests for market research.

Twitter is a brilliant app already used by millions. So, are you going to make twitter part of your everyday life? That is.. if you haven't already.

Travel writing..

As the sun beats down on my beautifully bronzed neck I couldn't help notice the subtle mountain tops poking through the horizon. The sand felt warm under my towel and soft on my toes, I felt completely and utterly at piece. The sea glowed clear blue under the sun like a giant liquid crystal, covering the landscape like a watery blanket. At one end of the beach was a group playing the bongos filling my ears with waves of music. They played each note with such love and enthusiasm I couldn't help but smile.

A young man walks by trying to sell bracelets made of colourful beads, the green one caught my eye it was as bright as the rainforest. He had long dreadlocked hair that came right down to the small of his back, he had walked past me many times that day trying to sell his goods, even with the heat.  He smiled at me just as a bead of sweat slowly trickled down his forehead to his chin. It was a warm inviting smile that made me feel all warm inside. As he was walking away I spot he has a tiny tattoo delicately placed on his left calf, not a very big tattoo but just big enough to create a statement.

Tension through the vicarage.

Disaster overslept this morning! The service starts at 8 and it's already 7.30. 'Susan wake up' No response (surprise surprise). My wife isn't a huge fan of my commitment to the church and God, however she could at least crack a smile once in a while.
Arriving to church 3 minutes late was embarrassing everyone was waiting out in the cold. I tried to make a joke to lighten the mood. 'Apologies for not defrosting the church..haha' I got a stern glare from the Davis family, now I think about it they're not a friendly bunch at the best of times. Still I must remember Love thy neighbour.
Anyway, Susan arrives looking like she's been dragged through a hedge backwards. I know God doesn't judge on appearance however you wouldn't see Mrs. Belcher rocking up to church in a moth bitten cardigan and mud covered wellies, would you? What a embarrassment, the vicars wife late for service and a face on her like a dog sucking a wasp. Stay calm Geoffrey at least she came that's one step up from last Sunday..
